At Yvette's chocolates we love brownies. And so do our clients. When the team at Tim's Dairy (another local business) shared their yoghurt brownie on instagram, we knew we had to try it with our peanut butter chocolate bars. And the combination works so well. Ingredients (to make 6 or 12 brownies)
130g Yvette's chocolates peanut butter bars
245g Tim's Dairy Greek Style Yoghurt plain
100g brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
130g plain flour
40g cocoa powder
1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
1/2 tsp baking soda
120 ml milk of your choice
peanut butter for the top
Flaked sea salt, for sprinkling
Method
Preheat the oven to 180C/356F. Line your dish of choice with greaseproof paper and set aside.
In a microwave-safe bowl, add your chopped peanut butter chocolate, melt the chocolate in the microware for 30 seconds, take it out and stir until melted. Let sit for 1-2 minutes, before adding your yoghurt, sugar and vanilla extract and whisk until smooth.
Them sift in the flour, cocoa powder and bicarbonate of soda, and mix until just combined.
Add your milk and mix well.
Transfer to the dish you prepared earlier. Add some swirls of peanut butter. And bake the brownies for 20 minutes, or until a skewer comes out just clean. Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, before carefully transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
